What is the Food Forest?

Food Forest is our school garden! Our club built it and now grows an assortment of plants inside. Some classes also collaborated with us and have their very own beds for growing.
We do many activities, other than the obvious. The garden takes lots of tender work and devoted green thumbs! We raised a worm farm to produce healthier soil, we have a sign for our garden in the works, we collected donation pots for seedlings, provide food for the club and school and much more! This is our favourite hangout spot, since we're working on our precious plants throughout the entire year. We've even made a greenhouse! Fun fact: our wonderful shed was painted by a former executive member, Jay Panchal! |
We like to think the Food Forest is a significant feature to our school, along with the roof-top solar panels :)
